What documents do I need to have ready before I start the application?

1. • School District NCES ID
   • Titles of the buses to be replaced
   • EPA Fleet Inventory Worksheet
   • Third-Party Approval Certification
   • School Board Awareness Certification
   • Utility Partnership Template (if applying for EV)

How do I save my work and finish the application at a later time?

1. • To save your application so that you can continue filling it out later, simply select the “Save and Continue” button. You will be provided a custom link to the current state of the form. You may copy this link and paste it somewhere, like in a word document or in an email to yourself, so it can be saved and accessed again later. You may also choose to send the link straight to your inbox for easy access. Once you click on the link, you will be directed to where you left off on the form.
   • Please re-access the form within 30 days after saving the form. After 30 days, the custom link will no longer be accessible.

Is there a template I can use?

1. • Visit the EPA website: https://www.epa.gov/cleanschoolbus/clean-school-bus-rebates-online-application-forms#information
   • You only need items 3-6.
   • Review the fleet inventory worksheet.

How will I know that Blue Bird has received my application?

After submission, you will receive an email from Blue Bird letting you know your application “went through.” Blue Bird will review the application and let you know if any changes are needed before the Grants Team submits your application to the EPA Clean School Bus program.

How will I know that Blue Bird has submitted my school district application to the EPA?

Blue Bird’s Grants Team will email you with a copy of the confirmation email from the EPA and a copy of the submission.

What happens after I click “submit”?

1. • You receive confirmation that Blue Bird received your application.
   • Blue Bird’s Grants Team reviews your application and gets in touch if anything is missing, needs to be revised, etc.
   • The Blue Bird team submits the revised application to the EPA Clean School Bus Program.
   • Blue Bird emails confirmation of submission and a copy of the application to you.
